2023 National Electric Surfboard Championship Held in Jinhua

Xinhua News Agency, Hangzhou, July 8- The 2023 National Electric Surfboard Championships opened in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province on July 8. A total of 156 athletes from 35 representative teams from 16 provinces, autonomous regions and cities across the country participated in the competition, setting a new high in the number of participants.
There are two new highlights in this competition, one is the new youth competition category, the other is the new electric hydrofoil Surfboard performance, which aims to let more electric Surfboard enthusiasts participate in it.
In 2019, Jinhua held the first national electric Surfboard championship, which has since opened the national electric Surfboard competition, while boosting the research, development and manufacturing of electric Surfboard in China.
Jinhua is one of the pilot cities for the National Aquatic (Maritime) National Leisure Sports Center. Before the competition, the national power Surfboard referee training class was held in Jinhua. After the competition, a series of national water sports events will be held, which will continue to set off the nationwide fitness craze in Jinhua and help build Jinhua into a "national electric Surfboard city".
The event was hosted by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the People‘s Government of Jinhua City, and undertaken by the Jinhua Sports Bureau and the Administrative Committee of Jinhua Economic and Technological Development Zone.
